April - 17 - 2015 | Jabel Jais Drive (RAK)

Dear Members,

BMW club of UAE is delighted to announce a drive to Jabel Jais, RAK. Please join us along with your families and loved ones on Friday, 17th April for a drive through the eastern mountains of UAE and experience the sheer driving pleasure of your BMW.

Please note the below for this drive:
• Meeting point: AGMC BMW Dealership on Sheikh Zayed Road
• The drive will be through E311
• There will be 1 stop for fuel on the way
• We plan to be in RAK city at around 1200 and will stop for Friday prayers
• After the Friday prayers, we will head to Jabel Jais at around 1315
• At the summit, lunch and drinks will be provided
• The cost per person will be AED 70, therefore it is important to confirm the total number of people attending with you/per car
• Members are advised to bring their OWN shisha, as there will be no Shisha provided by the caterers
• Members are advised to bring their own chairs, tents, other personal supplies to ensure their comfort at the summit
• Planned time to depart from Jabel Jais will be around 1630-1700hrs

Agenda:
• Drive to our destination "Jabel Jais in RAK" with lunch at the summit
• 0900: Members arrive at AGMC
• 0945: Safety briefing for all members (MANDATORY)
• 1000: Convoy rollout
• 1100: Fuel stop on E311
• 1120: Depart from Fueling station
• 1215: Arrive in RAK city & stop for Friday prayers
• 1315: Depart from RAK city to Jabel Jais summit
• 1400: Arrive at Summit
• 1415: Lunch & networking
• 1700: Return to DXB

Points to consider:

1. Drive will be done as a convoy, please stay with the concerned group leader
2. Overtaking is not allowed, this is NOT a race
3. Rash driving or any sort of dangerous driving will result in immediate expulsion of the car from the drive
4. Drive within the stipulated speed limit
5. Lights to be on throughout the drive (for identification)
6. Use of indicators is mandatory

Payment will be collected the morning of the event, please bring correct change.

Prayer will be 12.20 pm , and usually takes 20 to 25 min to finish.
We will be waiting with my friends at Emirates Markets just before clock round about to Khuzam road to join you guys, we can guide you also to sheikh Zaid mosque..0566826072..
