It looks our German friends are quick to release the pricing of the new BMW X5 M and X6 M, same as it happened with the Z4 shortly after the launch. As expect, their pricing jumps over the 100k mark, euros of course, with the more expensive BMW X6 M being valued at 108,500 euros.
The X5 M follows closely with a base price of 105,900 euros, making the “M twins” one of the most BMWs out there.
I still expect the U.S pricing to be in the $90,000 range, but we’ll find out next week.
One of their main competitors, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is priced at 133,970 euros, making the X6 M, at least on paper, a better buy. Turbo S outputs 550 horsepower.
The Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG which has always been considered a direct competitor to the X5 is priced at 104,480 euros.
We should also take in consideration the powerful Audi Q7 V12 which produces 500 horsepower and it is priced in Europe at 130,600 euros.
Stay tuned for more information.
