After its recent comeback on the big screen in the Ghost Writer flick, BMW increases their marketing efforts, this time in the music world. The popular pop band “Black Eyed Peas” and their lead singer Fergie, give BMW an important marketing boost in their latest music video, Imma Be Rocking That Body.
In the video embedded below, at approximately 1:35 min in, BMW’s Superbike or the “///M of bikes” as our editor Shawn named it, S1000RR, serves as a transportation mode for the talented and nonconformist Fergie.
The BMW bike continues to get some screen time in the next few scenes as well, but the icing on the cake comes 7:57 minutes in when the most powerful hybrid available for sale, the ActiveHybrid X6, makes its entrance in this futuristic music video.

As of today, the Imma Be Rocking That Body has close to 800,000 views on Youtube……and that’s from one single upload. If we were to take a wild guess now, we would say that millions of people have already seen the new music video and implicitly the BMW brand associated with it.
Not sure what strings BMW had to pull to accomplish this, but kudos to their marketing department for moving lots of their promos online.
