Re-building my E46 M3 race car

Sorry little late with those updates, I was busy with the races and working on the car. I didn't have much time to take pictures.

I'm very glade to tell that I got the 2009 championship of the national road racing in Qatar. I got the best qualifying time for round 5&6 and the 2nd in the race.

The upgrades on the car definitely showed an improvements on my laps, I was able to shave almost 2 seconds on my previous best time. Pictures of the car and the completed mods will follow :D

For this year the race is for 7 laps, but the 16 turns circuit makes it tough on the car. Next year will be be doing 14 Insha Allah.

Trans cooler, and diff cooler are on my plan, just not this time. I would like to have a spare engine to work on and upgrade I will not be able to work out the engine in such a short time :(

im wandring how much laps normally you do during race? is your car fitted with diff cooler, trans cooler, what about your engine any future modifcation like racing pistos, cams, port and polish.. ??

There are few that I heard off, you can order a very well designed cage from custom cages and have it welded.


I spoke to James few time through the phone, thats it.



Today's update:


I finished fixing the broken stud on the sway bar bracket, I have patched the holes and applied sealant and galvanized it with cyclo cold galvanize and tomorrow I will apply rubberized coating.

I finished making brackets and spacers for my new turner oil cooler, the brackets are make of 3mm aluminum and painted black with normal spray paint. I took the measurements carefully and the end results were worth it. It can clean my radiator and the supercharger coolant tank beneath it.








the space between the radiator and the cooler is adjustable, i make over sized holes on the brackets and I can move in each direction about 1/4"

I have also check the clearance of the SC, and its a GO
