    Duplicate Key

    Hi,

    Any body knows from where i can make a copy of my E46 in UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi. From agency i will get after 3-4 weeks at the rate of AED 1000. One shop next to Dar Al Shifa is charging 1200 and will give me on the spot. And if i get my own extra key(which fortunately i do from a friends BMW), he can program it for 500 which might or might not work.

    Any suggestions?!?!!!

    i got the solution for you :D ..... ready to pay around 300 ? .... that includes full key housing and programming !! with a chip !...

            I don't know, if I were you. On anything that had to do with my car in general and especially security and key systems. Since they are a big head ache in BMW's if anything happens to them, I would go to the dealer straight away. Atleast it's got a warranty !

              Appreciate your concern but i dont care much about such security as i believe Abu Dhabi to be a very safe place. Secondly i dont believe in the agency work as they just charge very high and take a lot of time. The same work can be done outside through a reliable mechanic.

              Anyway these are my opinions but am always open to suggestions :)

                    i did a copy of my previous 330Ci key at Abu Dhabi motors for 800 Dhs, but that was back in 2004 :D

                    they ordered it from germany based on my VIN & i must say it's impressive how they program it for the first time ;)
