Z3 -> AUTO tranny issue -> MANUAL convert?

the car is driving properly. light is no longer on ... so not sure what the problem was?

i'd love to convert this car into a manual & drop in a S54 M3 engine but i guess i'll just keep on dreaming for now ... :D

Just watch out for your transmission, don't keep downshifting all the time. If that light came on, it came on for a reason. So, don't run her hard.
Try an oil and filter change soon, should be benifecial.
Ow, and what engine do you have ?

it's a '99 Z3 coupe .. so a 2.8L inline6 ... i think somewhere around 180hp?

the oil change is a good idea .. this weekend hopefully.

Yea, more than often auto boxes problems end with an oil change.
