E30 help please

Hey all,

A friend of mine is looking to buy 19" wheels for his modded E30.

I tried searching but got nowhere.

Any guidance would be appreciated ;)

19s on a e30 will destroy it.

Ask him if it is 4 lugs or 5 lugs. If 5 lugs, from which car was it converted from?

The car is fully rebuilt, including chassis, body, engine (turbo), so im guessing 19" will do ;)

Its 4 lugs.

So how easy is the conversion to 5 lugs?

Wrong choice IMHO. He'll be much better with 17", gain more off the line too. 19" E30 look tacky.

By the way the car has about 700 hp. I really dont think 19" with the fully supported chassis will make a big difference. He is satified with power, but was also looking to have nice big wheels. I suggested 18" as i think they fit the e30 the best. Im saying this from all the nicly modded e30 ive seen in jordan, mostly had 17" and 18".

So does anyone know a source for 19"? 4 lugs.

as of now 19"s 4 lugs bmw wheels are no where to be found.

Thanks for the info guys, yeah it seems like 19" in 4 lugs will be difficult to find. My friend is considering the conversion to 5 lugs.

19" on an E30 M3 are NOT the same on a non-M E30 :)

Hey,

Just wanted to share a picture of my friend's E30. It was mission impossible to find wheels, but he was able to find these from Jordan. I think they match the car very well! I forgot what size they are maybe 17" or 18".

Dont mind the purple piece on the front grill, it was painted afterwards ;)
