I have been experiencing a very annoying steering lag and play since I got my E46 M3 5 months ago....After inspection, turns out the OEM rubber units are a bit out of shape and hence decided to go with Powerflex. I combined that with new OEM M3 tie rods (AED1000) and the immediate results were: 6 seconds shaved off in Redline Challenge. Steering is sharp, slalom performance is very predictable and the envelope has been pushed. There's considerably less understeer now that the car is telling me where the front end is. Totally worth the money, and they don't need replacing.
Highly recommend them, though a PITA to install (sorry X Service for the hassle :D), but the result is worth it. The road noise isolation is the same like the rubber units (designed to damp such disturbances at the expense of performance).
Would like to thank Mo'taz and Tarifi from TAM for their effort in securing these and handling the shipping error so professionally. Cheers guys...
