    New member from Dresden, Germany

    Hi

I'm glad having found BMW enthusiasts in UAE, because I often visit A. D. and Al Ain. From the first stay there, I like this country very much.

I live in Dresden, Germany, being a member of several large BMW forums.

    Since 1999, I own a black E34 525i w/o A/C (can you imagine?).

My real name is Andre (or correctly André <- don't know if the special char are displayed correctly in UAE localized OS versions).

    More soon....

Welcome to the forums Andre :)

That whole no A/C was a bit of a nightmare for me... my previous car, an e36 1997 vert, which came from Germany didn't actually have an A/C unit... which was a complete shock to me. Had to park it for two weeks to find an A/C unit during the summer.. hehe, it was not fun I can tell u that much :D

                              Hi

                              thanks for the greetings!

It might be misunderstood - my car is in Germany, and when I am in UAE I don't take it with me. Having no AC is not a problem here, only 50% (estimated) of all cars have one. In summer it's enough to go with open sunroof/windows, even on a day like this, where we will get max. 30°C/86°F.

In general, when its so hot there almost always comes rain w/thunderstorm after a few days, after which it is remarkable colder.

Tonight we will get such a thunderstorm, and tomorrow we will hit 16°C/61°F only.

It looks like this: Rain radar

So don't forget to close the sunroof

For me, in winter, a park heating + seat heating is more important than an A/C in summer ...
