Rip-Off Price Tag

Just wanted to share this with you guys.

My uncle is planning to buy the E92 M3 Silverstone DCT, 19" Rims with CF Roof for 65,000 US $ cuz he lives in Los Angeles,CA.

65000 $ = 240,000 AED (Approx.)

Here the price tag reaches about 400,000 AED !!! ..... I mean why !

It is 715.000 ofcourse excluding the insurance.
I guess Turkey and Malaysia have the same tax rates :)

In india the Import tax is roughly 120% the original price of the car -

So . . i got my car for 185K (cost without installments) here in dubai - in india i'd be paying AED 400 +k for the same car!

And thats not accounting for the currency exchange rates!

As far as I know they apply a tax rate between 85% to 110% depending on the engine size. Smaller engine has lower tax rate in Turkey.

AED 275,000 from US and AED 420,000 in UAE is a whole lot of difference

The 125i Convirtable price was : 170,000 AED

The 135i Coupe price was : 185,000 AED

+15,000 AED and you get a twin-turbo engine ! ( I don't want a vert car :D)
