    Q.How fast does the Earth’s core rotate relative to its outer layers?

    Choices:
    A) At the same speed
    B) Faster
    C) Slower
    D) Sometimes faster, sometimes slower

    The core appears to be rotating very slightly faster than the outer layers of the planet — by about half a degree per year, or about one part in a quarter of a million.

      That's why the compass reading is going off by half a degree each year !

        What if they put SC s62 engines around th equator, how fast would the core rotate?

                            Here's a weird one : I read today that E30's ( the old "box" shaped 3 series ) have tar in them. Is this true? Did they do it to weigh the car down when they designed it?
