Will there be a problem with the 3rd party insurance as well.

I only get 3rd party insurance.

BTW my M5 E60 still had a service contract and last week while i was in AD motors just to check the car file, clutch has been replaced so many time i dont know i think the previous owner had an aggressive driving habit, but i received the car with brand new clutch installed on 13/6/10 and i noticed the rpm was not stable i thought it was MAF sensor but they diagnose the car and they replace the carbon filter and now the car so smooooothly :)
they informed me that carbon filter is clogged fast...

I replaced the carbon filter in my M5 the next day I bought the car , thats something normal for those V-10 cars ,, specially if the owner drives the car till the last drop of fuel ..

I think you can remove the carbon filter.

I thought it was only for the US Spec cars.

no dude ,, you can't ,, actually it works as a breather for the fuel tank ... :D

it's located exactly above the right rear wheel cover ...

                    Ooohhh! Ok!

I thought it was related to the exhaust.

Hmmm...Hassan, are you planning on getting the M6?? Why not opt for the E90/2 M3 with the good ol' fashioned manual transmission. OLD SCHOOL FTW! Plus, you won't need to deal with the common SMG related issues. That's just my 2 cents..... GOOD LUCK though!

Yes Hamoodi. I am planning to get an M6.

I am considering the M3 as well. But, my preference is M6.
