Considering the Merc G class...

Dear all,
If someone is considering the Mercedes G class, what would be the difference between getting the G500 and the G55? other than engine/power...
When it comes to fixing and maintenance, is there a big difference? I'm sure my questions sounds similar to asking about a 325ci and an M3, I'm just looking for feedback, hopefully someone has owened or driven one.

From what I hear... There is a HUGE mark up difference in part prices because its a G55, like u said a 325 and an M3... U wanna buy a G55 its not only the price of purchase u need to consider... Maintenance is a big issue. This is what I heard :)
