have they jailbroken the 4.2? I don't think so... I was on 4.0.2 and had to downgrade the software to 4.0.1 to jailbreak it, just make sure u can!

The guy at the store told me that the iPhone was factory unlocked so I don't have to worry about anything.

If you've got the iPhone from Etisalat then its factory jailbroken, ive confirmed this from them, all their phones are jailbroken..

Unlocked: factory unlocked means you can put any sim card into the phone, this is what Etisalat has provided.

Jailbroken: this is so that you can install a program called Cydia which will allow you to access applications that have can be downloaded to your iphone without having to go through App Store, ie they are for free.

Go into ur settings and about... Need to know what iOS u r running... Chances r its the most up to date which for the time being cannot be jailbroken, its has to be 4.0.1 and below. Anything higher and u'll need to google it... Most jailbreaks will be an instructional video on youtube
