Maybe an M6 for a change???

    Gents..

well what can i say.. Most of you guys know me... thats enough :) :) :)

As i may need a proper business daily drive car, the Evo may has to go again... Anyway i already got a good offer for it...

So i was looking into different cars... Of course i thought about things i already had... So i checked out some e60 M5's online but then.... my expectations for an M5 are up trough the roof because of my previous Hartge M5 so nothing would be comparable with that....One thing i was in love with was the Sound of the V10... absolutely breathtaking...!!!!

Well, which other car has the same engine..??? M6!!!!!! :D :D :D

So i checked out some M6's and i must say that i found some for reasonable prices... BUT as i need to meet a budget cause i dont want to finance it will most probably be a 2006.. so my question is... Does it has the same bugs as the 06 Model M5's??? I mean.. SMG problems.. I drive etc????

I could easily find an e 60 M5 within my Budget.. but as mentioned previously i would compare it to my ex Hartge and of course i am aware of the problems it could have...

So M6 owners... fell free to comment!

Franz, you change cars like people change their underwears..

BTW I know you'll sure buy an M6, but I also know that less than a year down the line you'll end up selling it :P

Will keep an eye around for the 6er V10

I have a 2007 and haven't faced any problems yet.

When I was doing the research for my purchase I concluded that the 2006 cars would not be a good option because of the known issues, as you have mentioned.

This is why I was looking specifically for a late 2007 or a 2008.

          Good Luck with the purchase!

The E60 and E63 ///Ms are truely a joy to have.
