Morning all, whats happening?

This is my last day of work until the 14th of Jan

I fly home to (*cough*) sunny Scotland on Sunday, I'll be up to my waist in river water (with fly rod in hand) and more importantly, up to my eyes in Whisky, I think that deserves another.......

I’m convinced I was breast fed malt whisky as a child!!!
As long as I don’t die in the middle of a bloody river with my bottle I’ll be OK, drowning is my worst nightmare!!!

have any of you guys heard that BMW have announced price cuts to invoke sales in the region???
Some woman at work told me she heard somewhere that they are cutting by upto 40%, sounds like nonsense to me but thought i'd check with you lot?

Ive heard Mercedes is cutting down prices by January and if their sales are not good in January then they'll cut down more in February. The prices by January will be cut down by Dhs 25,000 and in February it can reach upto 40,000.

yea...they are cutting prices...They are sending out flyers to existing BMW owners. I got a promo flyer via email saying 5 series now starting at 147k (520i), the 530i is now at 210k...a while back when i had enquired, the 530i was at 245k ....

You're right, when I enquired about the 530i it was 250K.. This is a good advantage/time for people who are planning to buy new cars from showrooms :)
