Well it is the second time a policeman complained about the exhaust... I might put in the resonators, but that requires more cutting from the stock exhaust which will make it a bit messy to put it back to stock if I end up selling the exhaust or the car at some point

Dubai Police's latest joke... I got fined for idling (it was a bit high) the car at the lights :thumbsdown: They wanted to fine me and impound the car for a month, I got away with just a fine... the car just passed registration a month ago... So I will either put on the resonators or maybe just sell the mufflers and go back to stock for now

Thats seriously some kind of a joke, if they had a problem with idling then what do they expect, rev the engine for them

BTW the same thing happened with Franz and thats why he had to go for a low sound setup, or else his car was getting impounded as well..

Sorry to hear that Rami... your exhaust note is one of the best Ive heard. problem with these guys is that it really depends from one policeman to the other. its all bout their judgement. No formal standard. guess the practical thing to do is to revert to stock or incorporate resonators. But then again, as Hash said, the chances of it happening again are low.
