it's not fast, he is driving it at a high rpm making it scream pointlessly, and most importantly it sounds like a pure fart can.

that's an insult to BMW. the s2000 engine is better on an s2000 for many reasons. BTW a m3 engine (the 3.0 version) revs faster then the one shown in this video.
