i am not sure if you guys have seen this, but i think this is the best conversion in the world made by a BMW enthusiast from a E46 318i NFL to a E46 M3 sedan, i know it has quite some pages but i can assure you it does worth reading it, the result is simply amazing :yuhoo:

many have made this conversion, but i am pretty sure not like this one, what this guy did is not just a simple engine swap, it's a lot more than that...he basically bought an M3 in a pristine condition and used everything apart from the shell on the 318i, the topic is really good...

yes and u need alot of work to be done and converted (power wise).....:)

off course you can do it, but the only reason i see it for you, considering the area we leave in, is just to be unique, make a dream come true, out of passion or all three together :), because unlike the the guy from Egypt or the one on the link i posted, who is from Norway, they had an extra reason to do it that being the astronomic prices for an M3 over there, while here it's a lot easier to just buy a second hand one and for around 80k i reckon you can get a pretty good one.
