bro , we might have to consider postponing it if the weather stays rainy till Thursday , we will have to pass through RAK and it's worse than Sharjah during the rain .

According to the Weather Network and Google the weather should clear by thursday evening, this leaves us with clear sunny skies for the drive on Friday.

Dear Members,

I regret to inform you that we will have to postpone our March drive to Oman by one week, due to the unexpected weather conditions, this drive will be on Friday 4th of April. On behalf of the committee, I would like to apologise for postponing the drive, especially to those of you who have already made travel arrangements and booked work off to attend this drive.

Unfortunately, these are circumstances beyond our control. Its our responsibility to host safe and enjoyable drives to all members. Please update the same RSVP if you wish to attend/cancel your attendance.

Oman Drive postponed

Dear Members,

Friday April 4th, BMW Club UAE meets and heads to Northern Oman, rain is expected on Friday but that should not stop us from going.

Please note the below points for a smooth drive.

Event details:
• Meet location: ACE Hardware Festival City
• Meet timing: 8:00 AM
• Rollout: 9AM +/-
• Event Destination: Northern Oman, Khasab
• Discounted price per person for the Buffet: 100 AED including soft drinks and juices
• Free to Paid Members: NO

Event Agenda:
• Ace Hardware 8AM – 9AM
• Golden Tulip hotel Khasab Oman (lunch) 12:30 – 2:00
• Khasab beach (Shisha/Photo-shoot) 2:00 – 4:00
• Drive back 4:00 +/-

Things you need for the drive:
• Your cars
• Your actual passport
• Your car need to be insured in Oman, if not this can be purchased at the border for around AED100-150 depending on your car (3rd party only); call your current car insurance company to check if your policy covers Oman or not because some do.
• Please check and confirm if your able to cross the border by contacting the Omani Embassy or by visiting the link HERE. It has come to our attention that some nationalities must obtain a visa straight from the embassy and not via the border.
• Outdoor Chairs (Khasab Oman)
• Shisha (if a smoker - charcoal will be provided if weather allows)
• Sweatshirt depending on the weather
• Cameras and go-pros
