    Nitto NT05's

    Hello everyone

I'm looking for at set of Nitto NT05 size 235/40-18 and 265/35-18 ... Have tried several places in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.. No luck so far.
Does anyone know where they have these?
Or similar race orientated tire Michelin Super Sport...

    Thanks 😊

From what I hear... Nitto does provide good grip for a VERY short while then the tyre becomes noisy and loses traction...

I know they are not as good as PSS ... But, they are so much cheaper! Do we have any decent tire deals as a club?

They are more like semi slicks than high performance tyre..
Have seen a full set waiting for a customer in Zdegree. They said it's special order and they won't take responsibility if police catch u for running slicks on road..[emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1]

NT05s are not semi slicks. I also got mine from ZDegree. They definitely have more traction than PSS.

No question of traction when on dry surface.
Super sticky than PSS. But more for track use than DD. Very less milage.
Awesome if ur car is ur weekend warrior...[emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1] .
But don't take it out on winter......

In my book it's semi slick even though it technically its not...[emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1]

Tyres on my car don't last beyond 10,000 kms. So I cannot say how their life compares to the PSS. But their treadwear is 200 so they should last about the same.

                  10k... Wow...
Pilot super sport that I had on my other car lasted around 50k. No track use. No burnouts.
Offers better grip than p zero IMO..

Indeed! I prefer to enjoy my car rather than preserving tyres. I rarely drive with the DSC on.

Yes. PSS is better than PZero.

I wouldn't call it a dedicated track car. I drove it to work today.

However, I don't drive it unless it is going to be fun or I have no other choice.
