      Sure, why not?

      I was there a few weeks ago a to see what it's like and there were about 10 cars driving around (Corvette, E46 M3, E34 M5, 991 Carrera S, R32, Huracan and a few others). All drove a bunch of laps and went back in to cool down for a few minutes (both cars and drivers).

        +10000000 to what Rafik said.... last night it was 45C! at night!!! wont be pushing my car in such horrid conditions.

                  Do you believe they will announce the true temperature? Even what mentioned about car thermostat is correct with personal experience i admit that in abu dhabi it reached 50 i drove several cars on highway (not parked) it wasnt lower than 46 .. and bro 46 in GCC not like anywhere else

                    I can vouch that it was up in the mid 40's a couple of nights ago.
                    We measure the ambient air temperature when at work on the tarmac area's of DXB & DWC Airports. Only once this week did it read less than 40 degrees!

                        It was really awesome. Met some cool people. It was an open pit lane so you could drive some laps, take a break and go back on track whenever you pleased. Air temp was about 38, asphalt temp was about 52 and the car's oil temp did not get higher than 115. Had a spongy brake after about 40 laps (in 3 sessions) so I called it a day and went to Shak the next morning to have the brake fluid renewed. Other than that, there were zero issues.

                        There were some cool cars: a Cayman GT4, Huracan, GT3 and some other nice toys. There was also a guy in a white completely stripped Renault Clio. He was extremely fast. I was surprised (even on the straight...)
