Did you purchase the M3 with the intention of making it into a track car? or did the evolution happen during the ownership period?

Was there any other car that you considered as your track weapon?

Not at all, prior tracking the car, it was supercharged and used as my Daily Drive. A couple of friends started attending the UAE Extreme Super Lap held at the Yas Marina and I joined and got hooked since.

                      Car Mods updates

Thought I'd update this thread with my recent set of mods:

Aero: GT4 Canards from mk-motorsportteile in Germany - perfect fitment.

                      Exhaust: American Racing Headers - 1-3/4" 3" Collectors, 3" X-Pipe (catless/non-resonated).

                      The full setup

Comparison between the stock headers and ARH

For fitment, the skid plate needed to be trimmed

The o2 sensors extenders and how they were mounted

                      Drive-train: M-Factory driveshaft (YCW - Engineering)

Replaced stock guibo and all hardware while getting the DS installed, job was straight forward

                      Brakes: Mk Motorsportteile brake ducts

No clamps, just used zip ties around and had a steering limiter kit from Turner Motorsports installed to prevent wheels from touching the ducts on lock.

Power (Engine): Advanced Fuel Dynamics flex fuel

Not sure on how difficult installation is, as I was not there, but mechanic said took him about 1.5 hours taking his time doing it

Will be updating the thread with detailed results on the headers/E85, stay tuned.
