    E46 330i oil change...

Seems like mine is drinking oil along with fuel these days.
Last oil change put 7ltrs on the car. Now when they drained the oil only 5 ltr came back.
    Any suggestions...
Or is it normal for these cars...

I dont think that machine sucks out all of the oil from the engine. Try using the drain plug and see if more comes out.

          Does your car blow smoke?

It should be fine if its not blowing smoke.

How much oil did they put in?

Check the oil level again. It might be over filled.

Its difficult to tell from the pic where the oil level is

If I see it correctly, it looks like its overfilled.

the problem is in the device that they used to pull out oil.

let them drain the oil from the plug in the oil pan instead of sucking it out via this useless device that always keeps some leftovers in the engine

Oil level is just above the first cut on the dip stick.

                            Sounds good

I guess its best to monitor it until next oil change and try to check if its blowing smoke.
