    E46 2001 oil consumption

So I recently purchased 2001 e46 330ci M pack , and after few months I get to know my car is consuming oil after 2000 km . Perious onwer was using liqui moly 5w 40 , I though maybe it's because of the oil as its an old car to I recently switched to castrol 10w 40 and now after 1500km yellow oil indication is dre. I checked few blogs and forms but nothing makes sence ? Do I need to replace my engine or is there any other solution to that problem.

I think your engine internals are worn, but only a mechanic confirm

Are you sure there is no smoke from the exhaust?

You never mentioned the mileage. What is it?

Edit: never mind. I missed your post
