    BMW Belgium launches the ///M League



    M, the fastest letter in the world.

    After launching the Club7 reserved for owners of BMW 7 Series, 6 Series and BMW i8 in 2012, BMW Belux innovates again by presenting the BMW M League. The aim is to offer the owners of BMW M a space where they can be found around animations specially organized in the spirit of BMW M. The fastest letter, M, is linked to the most sporty models of the BMW range : BMW M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, X5 M and X6 M.

    The history of BMW M GmbH is intimately linked to the history of BMW. If the famous colors of BMW M appeared in 1972 with the BMW 2002 Turbo, it was in 1978 that the first BMW M appeared. That year, BMW launched the outstanding BMW M1. The M535i was to follow in 1980 before the first BMW M5 in 1984 followed by the legendary BMW M3, a race car adapted to the road ... The range of BMW M has expanded since then but the spirit remains the same . At the end of 2016, no less than 37,500 BMW M were sold worldwide.

    In Belgium and Luxembourg, the increase was also very strong, with 553 BMWs sold in 2016, five times more than in 2010. In addition, the M Performance models, including the newly launched BMW M550i, Including the fabulous BMW M760 Li xDrive with its new 12-cylinder engine.

    BMW M League.

    The objective of the BMW M League is to offer BMW owners the opportunity to experience their brand as intensely as possible. All owners of new BMW M becomes automatic member of the M League as well as customers who have acquired a BMW for up to three years. Membership in the M League is valid for five years.

    Many benefits are offered to members of the M League such as participation in on-track trials with their cars, the opportunity to discover the BMW M range on tour, travel to DTM races (and support the Belgian driver Maxime Martin racing on a BMW M4 DTM prepared by the RBM team based in Mechelen) or to discover the MotoGP of which BMW M is a partner. The members of the BMW M League will also be invited to discover behind the scenes BMW teams that line up the BMW M6 GT3 during the next 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. But culture is not forgotten either. Concerts and events related to culture will also be offered.

    Festive launch.

    The BMW M League was launched in a spectacular way on 23 May in the presence of Dr. Peter Henrich, President & CEO, BMW Group Belux, Lothar Schupet, Marketing Director of BMW M, Maxime Martin and no less than 500 guests. Peter Henrich explained: "The success of the Club7 has prompted us to take another initiative on our more sporting clients. With the BMW M League, we offer BMW M owners the opportunity to find themselves in places appropriate to our most sporty models. We will also offer them many activities in harmony with the spirit BMW M ".

    As for Lothar Schupet, he said "Belgium and Luxembourg are two important markets for BMW M. The expansion of our range will undoubtedly further increase our penetration in these markets traditionally amateurs of sports cars of prestige.

    The BMW M range has been complemented by two exclusive models reserved for Belgium and Luxembourg, the BMW M3 and M4 TELESTO and M4 AVUS.
