    Low Profile Tyres

    Hi Everyone,
I had a concern, I wanted to share with everyone and wanted to know if anyone else also have this problem.

I own a BMW 750LI 2017 with the 21” Rims. It has low Profile Tires
And I rarely drive it, One of the tyres has a Bump and is Tearing.

BMW has asked me to change the tires. It has happened to my last generation BMW 750LI also.

Is there any solution to this problem or just get new tyres is the Final Result.

Where is the car usually parked? How long is it parked for at a stretch without driving?

The Car is Usually Parked In my Garage and Is Driven Weekly.
I searched online and it said it is caused by the road not being even or having holes or cracks on the road.

If it happened to you in a different car then its probably caused by a certain road patch that you keep driving on. Is ot always happening on the front wheels or in the back as well?

To answer your question, you dont have to replace all 4. If the front tyre is damaged change both the front ones. If the rear is damaged get the back tyres replaced.

Mine were non-RFT's but still ended up with the bump. Difficult to diagnose what causes this. But i doubt it has anything to do with the car. Its either a bad batch of tyres or bad road section leading to high impact.

Thank You Everyone for The Replies.

I was thinking to Order New Rims from BMW, 20” so I can Put Thicker Tyres

In my opinion I think the problem is the road and the low Profile Tyres cant handle the impact.

It might help to have some more air pressure in the tyres.

I don't like run flats or big wheels or thin tyres.
